ArkCase makes it easy to find your way around. All the pages have a similar look and feel. The topics in this section point out the parts of the ArkCase page and their uses.
The ArkCase page has three major elements: page banner, sidebar, and content space. The largest element of the page—the content space—displays the content of the selected module.
The banner (top) and sidebar (left panel) form the page borders.
ArkCase Global Banner
The global banner is the top border of the ArkCase page. The global banner is the access point to all global actions not specifically tied to a module. You can use these global operations from any page in ArkCase. The global actions are the ArkCase header logo, which when clicked takes the user back to the home screen (dashboard page). The global new allows the user to create new content in the application, like a new case file or task. The advanced search allows the user to search from any page in the application. The internationalization allows the user to set their language preference.
The User Menu button opens a sub menu that consist of the User Profile, User Preferences, Help Guide, and Logout.
- Profile – Opens your profile page.
- Preferences – Stores your settings for displaying content in each module.
- Help – Links to the ArkCase Help Guide pages.
- Logout – Closes your ArkCase Session.
The sidebar, which forms the left border of the page, is available throughout ArkCase. The sidebar is the module navigation that allows the user to navigate from module to module.
The content space is the display element of the page. Depending on the module, the space displays:
- Widgets in the dashboard
- Case-related details
- Task details
- Search results
- Pre-defined user events
- Time and expense forms
